About GPMusic
GPMusic emerged in the early 2000s as an experimental project exploring the boundaries between digital art, electronic music, and interactive media. What began as late-night sessions with primitive software and borrowed equipment has evolved into a focused investigation of how technology shapes human consciousness and emotional expression.
The work draws inspiration from the glitch aesthetics of early digital culture, the ambient soundscapes of electronic pioneers, and the philosophical questions raised by our increasing integration with digital systems. Each piece is designed to create a space for contemplation about our relationship with technology and the nature of mediated experience.
Based between physical and virtual spaces, GPMusic continues to develop new forms of digital expression that challenge conventional boundaries between artist, audience, and medium.
Philosophy & Approach
Digital Consciousness: Exploring how our thoughts and emotions are shaped by screen-based interactions and digital mediation.
Temporal Fragmentation: Investigating the non-linear nature of digital memory and how technology affects our perception of time.
Interface as Medium: Using the computer interface itself as both tool and subject matter for artistic expression.
